Our Charity Initiative

Help Us Help Others

Bennison Brown from it’s inception, has always wanted to be able to give back to the local community and to causes that are close to the hearts of its staff.

The charities we choose are voted for and nominated by Bennison Brown staff. The charities have both a local connection to where our staff live and personal connections.

Our 2021 charities:

Our 2022 charities

Marie Curie (Quarter 1)

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity. They provide frontline nursing and hospice care, a free support line and a wealth of information and support on all aspects of dying, death and bereavement. Their frontline nurses, hospices and free support line helps people through their final years, months, days and hours of life.


Cardiac Risk in the Young CRY (Quarter 2)

CRY offers emotional and clinical support following a young, sudden cardiac death. They work to prevent this through awareness, research and by supporting affected families. They also provide screening to identify young people at risk so their condition(s) can be identified and treated securing their future.


One25 in Bristol (Quarter 3)

We are also donating to another charity in quarter 3. One25 helps an extremely marginalised group of women living in Bristol who have experienced crisis and trauma. They support them to exit street sex work, be safer from violence, access specialist support and develop skills and independence.


Peterborough's Women's Aid (Quarter 4)

Peterborough's Women's Aid provide safe temporary accommodation for women and their children who are experiencing domestic violence and/or abuse. They help to support and empower the women by leaving the refuge and settling into new community.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust (Quarter 1)

Cystic Fibrosis Trust work towards a brighter future for everyone with cystic fibrosis (CF). They do this by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.


Cancer Research (Quarter 2)

The world's leading independent cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information.


St Luke School (Quarter 2)

Primary school local to our head office in London, their vision is captured in theirschool motto: 'Hearts overflowing with truth and love'.

Cirencester Housing for Young People (Quarter 3)

Cirencester Housing for Young People. At Cirencester Housing for Young People (CHYP), we provide 24 hour supported accommodation for young homeless people between the age of 16-25 in the Cotswold district area. Our aim is not just to offer these young people a roof over their heads but the practical and emotional support they need. We teach them how to look after themselves, help them gain confidence and live a more fulfilling life independently.


Joining the cause

Some of the lenders and companies we regularly work with have agreed to support our chosen charities. We are very grateful for those that have joined and thank them for kindly donating. It really makes a difference.

Smart Legal and Adroit Accountax are family run, independent businesses with similar values to Bennison Brown. We work with both companies regularly to help support our mutual clients.

Smart Legal

Bennison Brown have worked closely with Smart Legal for a number of years. Smart Legal aim to give their clients easy access to exceptional legal services at great value for money.

Last year, Smart Legal donated to all of our 2021 charities and this year they, very kindly, will do the same for all of our 2022 charities.

Based in the heart of London, they are an well established and have a great reputation. They value honesty and excellent customer service which aligns with Bennison Brown's own goals.
